Most Teams Automate the Wrong Thing First
The instinct is to automate whatever is most visible. The work worth automating is usually duller: copying data between systems, re-keying invoices, sorting inbound requests, producing the same report every week. It's repetitive, rule-shaped, and quietly consumes hours. We start by finding where the time actually goes, then automate the parts that are safe to automate.
What's Included
Document Processing
Extracting structured data from invoices, forms, contracts, and PDFs.
Workflow Automation
Multi-step processes across the tools your team already uses.
Data Entry Elimination
Removing the copy-paste between systems that don't talk to each other.
Email & Request Triage
Classifying and routing inbound messages to the right person or queue.
Reporting Automation
Recurring reports assembled and delivered without anyone building them.
System Integration
Connecting CRMs, ERPs, spreadsheets, and internal tools through real APIs.
Technologies We Use
Why Work With Us
Time First
Measured Savings
We quantify the hours a process costs before automating it.
Right-Sized
Not Over-Engineered
Sometimes the answer is a script, not a platform.
Human in the Loop
Where It Matters
Review steps stay in place for decisions that need judgement.
Fails Loudly
Real Error Handling
Automations alert when they break instead of failing silently.
Documented
Not a Black Box
Your team knows what runs, when, and what to do if it stops.
Own It
No Lock-In
Built in your accounts and your infrastructure.
How We Work
Process Mapping
We document the current workflow, step by step, including the exceptions.
Opportunity Sizing
We estimate time spent and error rates to decide what's worth automating.
Design
Which steps automate, which keep a human review, and what happens on failure.
Build
Integrations and logic implemented against your real systems.
Parallel Run
The automation runs alongside the manual process so output can be compared.
Cutover
Switching over once results match, with the manual path still available.
Monitor
Alerting and periodic review so silent failures don't go unnoticed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Start with frequency and tedium: tasks done daily or weekly, with clear rules and low judgement, are the best candidates. We map the process and estimate time spent before recommending anything — sometimes the honest answer is that a process should be simplified rather than automated.
Both, depending on fit. Zapier, Make, or n8n are quick and cheap for straightforward flows. Custom code makes sense when volume is high, logic is complex, or per-task pricing on a no-code platform would cost more than building it. We'll recommend based on your volume and budget.
It should fail loudly. We build in error handling, alerting, and retry logic, and we document what to do when something stops. Silent failure is the main risk with automation, so it gets explicit attention.
In our experience it usually removes the worst parts of existing roles rather than the roles themselves — the re-keying, the copy-paste, the chasing. We'd rather scope honestly around that than make claims about headcount.
Automation follows rules you define and is predictable and cheap to run. An agent interprets ambiguous input and decides what to do, which is more capable but less predictable. If your process has clear rules, automation is the better tool. See our AI agent development page if the task genuinely needs interpretation.
